In the very beginning of the lecture, we were expected to make a balloon using some water and detergent -it was a total mess! During the process, we all took videoclips and make them slow-motion in order to capture the movement of the balloon. With this way, we were able to understand the shapes of balloon through its story. It was necessary for the second assignment.

For the Designing with Nature: Biomimicry in Architecture course final presentation, I came up with a design idea for my main studio project. I'm designing a women's empowerment institution and I wanted to design a pavilion which focuses on a related subject: glass ceiling (the invisible handicap of women in social and professional life). I was inspired by skeleton flower; when the pavilion is dry, it is pure white, however when it is rainy and the pavilion gets wet, it becomes translucent and give that "glass ceiling" effect. I hope that would attract people's attention and raise the awareness of society.

#Weforshe is an empowerment institution for mainly women. However, it welcomes all genders (men, women and lgbti+ individuals). The vision of the institution is based on equality.participants will have the chance of attending therotical courses (on topics of motherhood, education, econoiıcs and etc) that provided by the institution. In conference hall, there will be conferences by celebrities, professionals and etc about various topics such as gender roles, economics and so. This place will also be used as arena for music events in order to promote local music bands. There is a kids club for parents to leave their childs while attending events of the institution. Also there is a lactation room that serves a hygienic environment for mothers to breastfeed their babies. There are workshops that people may work on their DIY projects to sell in trading place which is located through the common passway of the building. There is a patisserie which you can buy some drinks and bakery products and enjoy them wheter inside of the building or in the garden. They may also take a book from the open shelf units (see columns) with them. It is a huge world, it is okey to feel lost sometimes. At this point, the psychologist of the institution may help you find your way again.
